It is prepared by methylation and condensation of 2-amino-6-methoxybenzothiazole. 165kg of anhydrous chloroform was added into the dry glass-lined reaction pot, 29.7kg of dried 2-amino -6-methoxybenzothiazole was added under stirring, heated to 60 ℃, and stirred at 60-64 ℃ for 0.5h to dissolve it. Cool to 55 ℃, control to add 23.1kg dimethyl sulfate at 50-55 ℃, react at 60-64 ℃ for 1h, cool to below 40, add 88L of water, heat and recover chloroform until the temperature rises to 95 ℃. Then cool to below 50°C. Add 110L of water to the methylated reactant, add 19.8kg (calculated as 100) of hydrazine hydrate under stirring, heat to 90 ℃, keep the temperature at 90-95 ℃ for 6 hours, cool to below 50 ℃, filter by suction, fully wash the filter cake with water until the yellow and bright test paper remains red, drain dry, and obtain about 42kg of product (filter cake) with a yield of about 70%.
